HRDF is Now HRD Corp (HRDC)
In 2021, HRDF (Human Resources Development Fund) was renamed to HRD Corp under Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad. The mechanics are largely the same - employers pay a 1% levy on monthly wages and can claim back training costs - but the branding, portal (eTRiS), and some scheme rules have updated. "HRDC claimable team building" and "HRDF claimable team building" refer to the same thing.
HRDC-Approved Team Building Schemes
Team building programmes are typically claimed under one of three HRD Corp schemes:
- SBL-Khas: Most common for team building - up to 100% reimbursement on approved courses
- SBL: Standard skim - requires pre-approved course codes
