How is HRDF levy calculated in Malaysia?

Under SBL-Khas, up to 100% of the training (course fee) component of a team building programme is claimable. Accommodation, meals, and transport are not claimable — only the structured training portion delivered by a TTT-certified, HRD Corp-registered trainer.

Who is eligible to claim HRDF for team building?

Accepted Answer

Any HRD Corp-registered employer who pays the levy can claim for approved training, including structured team building, for their Malaysian employees. The programme must have learning objectives, a certified trainer, and proper documentation submitted via eTRiS within 30 days.
