Had the best time last weekend at Mr Cheah's wheeling class. It was just my friend and I, and Mr Cheah gave us a lot of attention and answered our endless questions about the origins and types of clay, minerals, etc. I was nervous at first, having no pottery experience at all, but Mr Cheah kept reminding us to be calm and work with the clay, as opposed to trying to control it. True enough, I noticed myself working the clay better when I relaxed. He gave us the freedom to make mistakes and explore (with unlimited clay, hey!) Also, the quiet neighbourhood where the studio is made our session very therapeutic. We can't wait to go back to glaze our masterpieces (LOL)! I rarely leave reviews, but I really want people to go and check this place out. Worth every penny.

We just had a wheel class as complete beginners. Mr Cheah was very patient and helped us so much. We had such a good time, made some nice pieces and would love to try making pottery again. The studio is charming and so authentic. So happy we came and definitely recommend it as one of our top “off the beaten path” activities we’ve done in KL.

I found this place because it was a very affordable pottery experience in KL! The instructor Mr Cheah was very patient and explained to the small class (4 people) the different types of clay. It was a really fun/intimidating experience for a newbie like myself. But you can always call on Mr Cheah to help fix some mistakes on the pottery pieces you made. Cons: parking is challenging. So try your luck and make parking in the housing neighbourhood. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and art lovers
