This is a very unique accommodation. The space is small, with only one double bed, offering a pure, minimal experience. The bathroom is shared, so it’s not recommended for those who are very particular about cleanliness. The staff are friendly, and there’s free parking. It’s not far from Lin Ming Village. A great spot for anyone who loves being close to nature.

Stayed from Dec 21st - Dec 23rd 2025. We did not stay in the Time Capsule as the bathroom is separate since we have a 3 years old daughter. We stayed in the Room of the Rumah Orang Melayu concept which has attached bathroom. Always had wanted to feel stay in the Rumah orang Melayu. Thought would need to go Melaka for the experience but got the experience at here instead by luck. We booked a standard room. But the owner (Malay lady) was very generous and kind seeing that we have a daughter, and it just happens to be not peak time so she offered us bigger room with 2 queen sized bed to allow more space for our daughter. Furthermore it was monsoon season, therefore very less people booked I guess at that time. So since the Time Capsule Room Bbq area was free, Wife set up the place to celebrate my birthday there. Did some cooking and cut cake. Very wonderful experience. Able to stay with nature and also "Rumah Orang Melayu". Overall I think, the stay was great due to the owner kindness and generosity.

⚠️ TL;DR: Very damp, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. Big gap between photos and reality. We would not recommend. We are hikers and enjoy camping outdoors, so we’re very familiar with nature and rustic environments — this was not that. The unit was extremely damp with a strong musty/earthy smell. The air felt wet all night, and the AC alternated between cold and warm air without properly dehumidifying. By morning, our clothes (including jeans) were damp, making sleeping very uncomfortable. There is a huge gap between the photos and the actual condition of the place. The photos do not appear to be recent and seem to be from when the property first opened. Facilities felt old and poorly maintained: old kettle and rice cooker, water heater not working properly, and very slow water flow for the jacuzzi. The only positive was the caretaker — she made sure we had everything needed for the BBQ and even cleared leaves from the walkway to prevent slipping. If you value a dry, comfortable, and well-maintained stay, this is not it. Dehumidifiers and proper maintenance are badly needed.
