We’ve spent the weekend up here and it’s been fantastic. It honestly feels a lot like an Australian-style glamping experience really high-quality tents, beautiful rainforest setting, a great little stream for the kids to explore, and super peaceful. If anyone’s looking for an easy nature escape not too far from the city, I’d definitely recommend it. We’ve had a really great weekend up here.

Had a 3d2n stay with extended family consisting of elderlies and children. This place is such a gem. There are plenty of actvities to keep the children occupied and at the same time offers some tranquility for the adults to find some zen just 45minutes away from the bustling city of KL. Big big praises to the staff for being very warm, friendly and helpful. My grandma who has difficulty walking was worried about moving about in the resort but they provide buggy services and the staff readily assisted her up and down the buggy. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy to sleep in. Toilets have all the basic necessities. The sinks are a little high, so young kids under 120cm will have a hard time reaching for the tap. Do consider providing some stepping stool in each room for families with young children. Food at the on site cafe was beyond my expectation, they were tasty and portions were huge. The nasi ulam, cekodok, aglio olio and dendeng pasta deserves a mention. Our first day breakfast was a buffet spread but on the 2nd morning, they provided serve to table continental/asian meal sets due to low occupancy. Just a feedback, the portion served were a little too much especially the omelette. It will be good to check with customers on the portion to minimise food wastage. All in all, we enjoyed the entire stay very much and will definitely return.

We had an absolute ball at Tiarasa Glamping Resort. I first heard about Tiarasa back when glamping was a "trend", and I’d been wanting to visit ever since, but never got the chance. Over the long Wilayah weekend, we finally booked a stay and it exceeded expectations. We stayed in Rajah Brooke 1, which was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 children (aged 4.5 and 2.5). The property is incredibly well-planned and impressively maintained, especially considering it’s been operating for over five years. Everything felt sturdy, clean, and thoughtfully designed. What stood out most was how family-friendly the experience was. The entire resort was enjoyable for both children and adults. The swimming pool was a big highlight for the kids, especially the slide, which felt comfortable and safe. If I had one small wish, it would be for a deeper adult section so grown-ups could swim more properly, but it’s clearly designed with families in mind and it delivers that theme very well. There are also lovely romantic touches if you’re staying as a couple — like accommodations with a swing bed, plus a bonfire area where guests can roast their own s’mores. The nightly movie under the stars was such a vibe too, made even better with unlimited hot Milo and surprisingly delicious freshly made caramel buttered popcorn. Warm, sweet, and honestly heavenly in the cool night air. Food-wise (from the cafeteria), it’s not the best we’ve ever had, but definitely above average and fairly priced for a resort standard. The staff were consistently well-trained, friendly, and helpful. Special mention to the groundskeeper (we unfortunately didn’t catch his name) who was always clearing leaves, keeping pathways neat, and setting up the bonfire — such a kind presence. Also a big shout-out to Murphy, who drove the buggy and gave us a little tour around the property — the kids absolutely loved it. Reception and café staff were equally warm and welcoming. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be the water pressure and bathtub safety. Anti-slip mats would really help, as the bathtub can get slippery when showering, and the railings didn’t feel sturdy enough to rely on if you had to catch yourself. That said, we really appreciated the many thoughtful details — from the design of the "tent" itself where guests have the option of natural sunlight from almost every corner, plenty of hanging ladders/stands for drying wet swimwear within the room, and well-maintained common seating areas all around the property. Overall, the grounds are absolutely beautiful — and what we loved most is that, despite being a resort, it never feels overly “resort-like.” The design keeps so much of the natural character intact, from the river to the wild trees and greenery, while blending in just enough modern comfort to feel polished and special. It’s the perfect balance of nature and thoughtful design — a true glamorous camping experience. We left feeling rested, happy, and already talking about making this a quarterly treat.
