I honestly don’t understand the glowing reviews, so here’s what you need to consider before booking. For comparison, they charged SGD 150 per night, while a Marriott was only SGD 120. Despite the premium pricing, there is no assistance with luggage up a steep road, on top of an already difficult drive up the mountain. On top of that, they don’t sell any food, snacks, or even water at the property, so good luck if you run out. Yes, they provide meals at 8am and 8pm, but seriously? Don’t tell me two fixed meals for two adults justifies the price point. There is also no room service at all. They tell you to contact them via WhatsApp, but if you have no data connection (because you’re up in the mountains so data connection is unstable or unconnected) and no Wi-Fi in the rooms, how exactly are guests supposed to reach them? While the room itself was clean and the AC and shower worked fine, the lack of Wi-Fi was never disclosed beforehand. Because of this, we had to sit at the reception just to use Wi-Fi in order to contact Agoda. We booked three nights but stayed only one, and initially, they refused to refund the remaining nights. We ended up spending five hours at the reception before Agoda finally managed to get them to agree to refund the nights we did not stay. For the price they charge, these basics should be a given.

Excellent service and staff who were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We had our own pool which was great. Elderly be warned tho as no railings. They can help to organise activities too. We loved the rafting & swimming in the river! Being surrounded by trees and having the sound of the river was so lovely. Special thx to Faiz!

We had a wonderful stay here. The place is peaceful and serene, and we could hear the river flowing from our room, which was incredibly soothing. The room was clean and smelled amazing — we loved their reed diffuser so much that we even bought one to bring home. Meals were served in mangkuk tingkat, which was a lovely and unique touch. The staff were polite, attentive, and very accommodating. We initially went to the river near the fireplace, but there were quite a lot of mosquitoes. When we mentioned this, Faiz kindly brought us to another nearby spot that was even nicer — mosquito-free, with butterflies fluttering around, which made the experience extra special. The bathroom could benefit from some renovation or minor improvements, but overall our experience was truly delightful and memorable.
