The Culvert: All the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Natassa and Angelo at the front desk greet you with their warm, happy smiles every day. Habib and Mirul helped with luggage (the pathway is made of separate cement blocks so cannot roll the luggage). Fauddaus helped with the door (they are sealed very tightly to prevent mosquitos from entering) The private beach is very small. It's lovely with soft sand, gentle waves, but not long enough to take a long walk. Many areas to lounge and enjoy the ocean view, including big round swings. Two swimming pools. I would recommend The Culvert for a quiet get-away. Your room feels like a cozy cocoon. But be prepared with bug repellent. Perhaps they can provide coils outdoors.

The best experience! The services provided by the friendly and polite staffs were praiseworthy! They are always eager to help us during our stay. I'd like to especially thank these two staff members; Angelo and Natassa. They have been very kind and helpful to me during my stay here :) They were patient and friendly whenever I had questions regarding events, foods, rooms and so on. They even provided pamphlets on some archeology gallery park so I could spend my leisure time as I pleased! This place is also quite close to SCV (Sarawak Culture Village)! I highly recommend this place as the room is quite clean despite the small size. Plus, the location is beautiful, the view is to die for! We've also tried the swings which had a breathtaking view of the sunset/sunrise (depending on the time). The staffs are kind and knowledgeable about which areas have the best view so no need to fret about losing out on a gorgeous view of the sea here!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing experience and truly wonderful staff! I’m staying here and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The team has been incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming from start to finish. At the front desk and for photos/videos, Natassa and Angelo were fantastic friendly, patient, and always happy to help with a smile. A huge thank you as well to the giant swing assistance team: Habib, Alex, Rohan, and Aini. They were professional, encouraging, and made the whole experience feel safe and fun at the same time. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommended this place and its people truly make the experience special 💛
