Came here as a guest. - Middle of Jan 2026. There was no water in the bathrooms. Water only restored the following day afternoon, and some water leaked into the living room atrium. Customer threatened to leave altogether if it wasn't fixed cos they booked for a few days. - Driveway very steep and narrow. Can only accomodate 3 extra cars at best so choose carefully which cars you decide to come here. - The plants indoors and outdoors weren't well maintained. - House interior was well kept but the veranda cleanliness was a bit neglected. - Once you leave the house there is almost no mobile reception so you have to remember directions to the main road.

Our second time coming here for a short break. Our family loves the welcoming atmosphere and peaceful, calming energy of the place. We came during the raining season and enjoyed just sitting on verandah watching the rain and immersing in nature and cool weather.

We had an amazing overnight stay at Rest. Pause. Rainforest Retreat for our association retreat. The experience was nothing short of wonderful! Dorena (Manager) & Rani (Caretaker) were incredibly accommodating, even allowing us to check in early. They also went the extra mile by providing a whiteboard and flip chart, which was really helpful for our retreat and team-building sessions. The facility was superb, offering a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere—perfect for a retreat. We absolutely loved the house concept, which had a unique aesthetic value and felt so homely. It truly lived up to its name as a place to pause and unwind. There was a dog on-site, which we understood was for security purposes. It didn’t bother us, so it was all good. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.
