Staycation at Rekta Habitat (13/12/25 – 14/12/25) We chose Rekta Habitat for a family staycation and to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be an unexpectedly memorable and joyful experience for all of us. The property features a unique container-style homestay concept that feels both stylish and thoughtfully curated. We booked five rooms to accommodate our family of 17 adults and 10 children, and the space was exceptionally comfortable, cozy, and welcoming, truly giving a sense of home away from home. One of the highlights was the open kitchen and BBQ area, which was perfectly designed for large group gatherings. As we had exclusive use of the entire property on our check-in day, we were able to fully enjoy the swimming pool and facilities in complete privacy. While the rooms are not soundproof, this was communicated to us in advance by the place keeper, Mr. Mohksin. It was not an issue for our group, as everyone rested comfortably throughout the night. The swimming pool is generously sized and suitable for both adults and children. There is also a karaoke room available; although the microphone quality could be improved, it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of the stay. In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised with a beautifully prepared breakfast basket. What a charming and thoughtful touch. The entire property is highly Instagrammable, surrounded by lush greenery, and complemented by a mini zoo that adds a lovely kampung-inspired charm. Rekta Habitat is highly recommended for large groups, especially when booking the entire place for a more seamless and private experience. If shared with other guests, consideration for noise levels is advised. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and will certainly be returning in the future!

First time coming here, i am a bit lost. Because the homestead is hidden , camouflage from the surrounding places and community. Surprised by the authentic looks, ' industrialized architecture' really suite me and and my family. The cozy environment, the Ample parking and the hospitality of both the staff and the owner really make our short stay soothing. Nice rooms, nice view (garden / swimming pool) Nice landscapes, buffers the surrounding kampung, road sides etc etc.overall i, recomend this homestead to those who want to try something unique, authentic ,cozy and different environment. The unit / rooms is not many but then not over crowded. The swimming pool is nice size. The facility is an added value which suite a small gathering parties with activity. They have rooms for discussion , a huge Prayer (surau) area, a small stage, ample green compound area and also spotted spaces for coffee and chit catting. And we were served with Nasi Lemak and kuih at breakfast. Nice!

Based on my experience, here is my honest review : Pros 1. Aesthetic view. 2. Spacious surau. 3. Breakfast provided (Nasi lemak and 2 pieces of kueh) 4. Receptionis / hotel supervisor named mokhsin is very polite and professional. Cons 1. Noise pollution (Not a best place for healing and sleep because near to the main road and the room container itself is not having any soundproof- hotel just provides the earplugs to resolved the noise problems.) 2. The room is not clean especially the Melaka House (shear curtain had stain-mole) and the kitchen is sandy, the cooking utensils are dusty. 3. The swimming pool for children is also dirty. there was a monkey pee and the urine feces went into the kids swimming pool. 4. Not friendly to wheelchair users and senior citizens. There are only stairs to the upper floor. 5. Many toys such as ping pong table, badminton, archery are provided in the lobby area, but customers are asked to play quietly because they prioritise other customers privacy. 6. Admin not customers friendly,no tolerance and compromise. 7. Strict rules to abide. This place is only suitable for small event such as engagement & weddings due to aesthetic view. For big events like family days, not recommended due to very strict rules. They count every head of people attending and staying here.Unless u book for the whole hotel rooms (which is too expensive for me and not worth it) The price is not cheap. My family booked 5 rooms of various types and spent almost RM3k++ to stay here. If u are looking for peace and healing spot, this is not the place. Better look for another villa that much worth the price , more comfortable, spacious, quiet and have more privacy. As a melakarian, I'll not come here again. It's really not worth. Nak bagi pantun sikit. Baru la Melaka Di sana padi di sini padi, Baru bernama sawah dan bendang, Di sana budi di sini budi, Baru sempurna bernama orang
