I had a wonderful stay at Permai Rainforest Resort. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. The cabins were clean and tidy. We did experience a small issue with ants, but it was handled as well as possible and the staff responded promptly. Seeing monkeys in the trees and lizards in the bushes made the stay even more special and truly unique. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful rainforest experience.

**Do NOT use the laundry service.** The location and atmosphere of the resort are very good, as is the enjoyable guided jungle trek. Under normal circumstances, I would have been fine with the very poor condition of the rooms and the equally mediocre food, because the location more than makes up for it. I would not be writing this negative review if things hadn’t gone so wrong with my laundry. I handed in two small bags for the not-at-all-insignificant amount of €65 😱 and received them back completely ruined: badly washed, un-ironed, and still half damp. Because I hadn’t calculated the cost beforehand, I was quite shocked when I heard the price at pickup. My own fault, I thought—I should have checked. But when I unpacked the laundry at my next destination, I was genuinely upset. Everything had clearly been thrown together into one machine on a hot wash. Clothes had shrunk, colors had run, everything was wrinkled, and it smelled bad because it had been put back into the bag while still damp. On top of the absurdly high laundry fee, I’m now facing hundreds of euros’ worth of ruined clothing. Damn ☹️

That place is stunning! The tree rooms are amazing, the staff is great and friendly all the time. The restaurant is really good. We saw monkeys all the time. Everything was perfect ! There is a place to rent kayak and stuff like this, there are 3 trails to do and 2 beaches. I truly recommend.
