We visited the Sarawak Cultural Village this morning with Yusof as our guide and Foo as the driver. Both of them were engaging and friendly and their company made the trip all the more enjoyable. Yusof, a Sarawak native, happily shares his vast knowledge of the various ethnic cultures; I love the way he warmly greets all his friends (staff) at the SCV. Foo is a wonderful driver, helpful and friendly. The dance show was very entertaining as well. My nephew and I thoroughly enjoyed our excursion today. I ❤️ Kuching

Had an amazing experience with my family. We got to see the santubong wildlife of borneo though not so much due to the weather. I would recommend to come in between March to August to see the most of the wildlife such as Irrawady Dolphins, crocodiles and Proboscis Monkeys. The captain Mr. Amin has 30 years of experience and eyes like a hawk where he can spot wild animals at a very far distance. The assistant Mr. Foo is very good at explanation and very helpful through our journey. They even have accommodation services to pick us up at the hotel and they come on the dot ya so be punctual lol. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.

We were picked up at our hotel right on time by the very friendly guide Mas Daud and a driver (didn’t catch his name). The drive to Gunung Gading National Park took about 1.5 hours. We were greeted at the Park by Antonia, a freelance park guide. You can tell Antonia is passionate about her job and equally passionate about all the plants in the forest. We were regaled with information about the various plants and flowers we saw off the trail. And most important of all, we saw a fully bloomed Rafflesia!! It appears Antonia keeps track of all the Rafflesia buds and has perfect knowledge of the probability when these very elusive and beautiful flowers will bloom. She was able to point out numerous other Rafflesia buds which we wouldn’t have spotted at all. Be sure to request for the very friendly and very knowledgeable Antonia if you fancy catching sight of the beautiful Rafflesia when you are visiting the Gunung Gading National Park.
