The whole idea for this place was great but unfortunately poorly maintained. The staff was responsive and friendly. Yet, there's a huge space for improvement. The chalet/house (rumah Gaharu ) was so dusty. It's like being abandoned for a long time. We booked a few weeks early but it didn't look like they checked and cleaned the room before we came. It seems they focus more on outdoor activities like ATV and events management. The plug points were hard to access. The room got two different kiblat points. The bedsheet and pillow cases smell like dust. My friend and her whole family felt the same for the other room (rumah Cendana). Even though the accommodation was included with breakfast, it was still not really worth it thinking there were many other better choices. Nasi lemak for breakfast was tasty but no anchovies. On the second morning, there was rendang ayam which was good. This place might be great for outdoor activities such as team building events. Yet, a bad idea for relaxing unless they improved the housekeeping part and maintenance too. It will be such a big loss if they just let the houses/rooms rot. This place can be considered as a Kuala Pilah gemstone, whether it stays like that or fades away.

Excellent ATV trails at reasonable price (50 minutes for RM60 + extra activities). The ATVs give out a lot of smoke though, so bring a mask. Trail can be quite technical, so newbies beware.

A place for the extreme sports enthusiasts such as flying fox, mountain biking, ATV riding and hiking in Bukit Putus area. Very nicely build wooden house and structures using tree trunk.
