Although it was a cloudy and beautiful day when we visited, the humidity was not conducive for forest bathing. Also out of three gardens, one was closed that day. So we sampled agarwood tea at the gift shop. Learnt there are two types to choose from, one made from the leaves, twigs and bark of the agarwood tea and the other from agarwood trees that bore fruit with the fruits added. The former is reputed to fight inflammation in the body, regulate blood sugar levels and lower cholesterol, aide digestion, help with a good night’s sleep and eliminate uric acid from the body. The latter does all of this plus the added benefit of acting as a “cooling” tea, to reduce heatiness and mouth ulcers. Both had a lovely herbal taste that is naturally sweet, not overpowering. There’s also agarwood coffee but I didn’t try it. Besides the usual agarwood bracelets and necklaces (not cheap), they also carry other beauty products made with agarwood. Besides the usual suspects you find in a snack shop, this one also sold agarwood soft serve ice cream and chinese tea eggs (the shop sold the spices for this). The first taste of the ice cream had a subtle flavour which was on the sweet side. After the tastebuds were numb by the cold, only the creaminess and sweetness could be discerned. The tea eggs were okay and would have tasted better if the tea taste was stronger. The toilets were clean and bundles of pandan leaves kept the air smelling fresh and refreshing.

This place has good vibes! Free tea sampling! Very nice! 25 pkts per box about RM69. Nice tea! If buy bigger packaging will be cheaper price. Pay RM 13 p/pax for adults to take shuttle minibus to 3 stations. Kids price is lower. The 1st stop at the peak to view beautiful sceneries. 2nd stop to hug the trees, feed the fishes n see beautiful garden. 3rd stop is about 800m to waterfall. Well worth the visit!!! Must try out the tea sampling too! Saw that there's fried rice for vegetarian! 👍🏻 Overall it's a great visit! The staff are friendly and approachable. The toilet is clean too. 😊

1. Scenic & Relaxing Environment The plantation is very peaceful and green, with a “healing” nature feel. There are good viewpoints: the hilltop gives a nice panorama over the gaharu trees. The “Hugging Park” and “Lovers’ Park” are unique photo spots and feel quite serene. 2. Unique Concept This isn’t just a tea plantation, but an agarwood plantation, which is rare and interesting. Their sustainability angle: they grow 200,000+ gaharu trees organically. The “time tunnel” exhibit gives a bit of history about agarwood and the plantation. 3. Good On-site Products The shop offers gaharu-based products: tea, oil, even gaharu-flavored food items. Visitors generally like the gaharu tea. Ice cream is a highlight: gaharu ice cream is mentioned in reviews. 4. Friendly Staff / Service Some visitors call the staff very friendly, and the van drivers are attentive. The van tour helps cover the large area, making the plantation more accessible.
