Being at Gopeng Highland Resort felt like being in a completely different world. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's pretty appalling to discover that such a place actually exists in Ipoh, Malaysia. The peace and serenity was mind blowing and my family and I were at total ease in the safe hands of the owners. We were well taken care of and being in nature helped us to relax. The view is spectacular here. The rooms were super huge and I was especially shocked at how huge their bathrooms were! The rooms faving the river was so awesome that i literally spent most of my time sitting at the balcony enjoying the view and listening to the sound of the water flowing down. Food at the Resort was mouth watering! We enjoyed the BBQ dinner the most! Best of all, it was a good break for us as we were away from our devices and tv! Highly recommended! And im definitely going back again!

Had a great time here. The river is the star. Mindi arranged for us - caving, white water rafting and atv. Everything was smooth and seamless. A gem of a find for us to escape city life. A BIG plus - it's durian season. Our kids went durian hunting within the compunds for dropped durians. The experience of opening up your "own" durian by yourself - priceless for us city folks. Mindi also arranged for a camp fire! Our kids enjoyed it immensely!

Beautiful, well-maintained and serene. I'm addicted to the sound of the gushing river that freely flows into your room at night. The place is basic but cozy and clean. The food is good, and of course the river is the heartbeat of the place. It's really quite from the main road, and you're better off driving a SUV or a truck. I drove a convertible and was filled with anxiety driving over the potholes, steep inclines and steel bridges. I survived though, hahaha
