Had a wonderful stay at Damai Beach Resort and would like to thank the reservation officer for their prompt response. We stay in a chalet, and the room was good, with a very comfortable bed, the bed height was a little high for younger children. The kids had a great time enjoying the beach and the swimming pool. The resort also provides convenient buggy & van services. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, and the nasi lemak was especially delicious. Overall, the service was excellent. Highly recommend this resort.

This used to be the premier resort in Damai, Santubong. Revisited recently after a long absence. Though it is well maintained, and the staff were courteous and helpful, it somehow lack the happy resort vibe. Firstly to be greeted in the room with a prominent set of rules and warnings, TV that doesn't work ( was told that's how it is) , no WiFi and lacked basic personal toiletries. I shouldn't expect that would be a persistent issue, given the rate and stars that the resort is displaying and the strict entry control these days. The socially and technical aspects perhaps need upgrading to this present age to be on par with other newer resorts. And looking at the architecture, understandably the 70- 80 tropical resort style is inherent and acknowledged, however despite several upgrades and refurbishment, they hadn't taken into account to uplift the image , in particular the blatant usage of local ethnic motives employed in the interior design and fittings. It could have been refined and exquisitely used optimaly with understanding, respect and finesse in better promotion and appreciation of the ethnic arts of Sarawak. It would be wonderful to be able the enjoy that tropical resort vibe that used to be so welcomed at this resort years ago, because it is still such a gem at this beautiful location.

Convenient location not too far from Kuching city centre. Spacious and clean rooms with free shuttle service to and from your doorstep to front lobby. Reasonable quality and choices for complimentary breakfast. Free wi-fi not working at all though. Staff helpful and friendly. Will definitely come again soon. Thank you.
