Had a very pleasant stay at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a nice view of the Melaka Strait. The swimming pool was good and the lifts were fast. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, although there were only two types of Nyonya kuih. All the staff were warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Michelle at the front desk for the quick check-in, and to Hakim/Hatim from housekeeping for promptly providing the items we needed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Had a really pleasant 3 days, 2 nights stay with my family at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka. Special thanks to Mr Roger Gabriel and his team for the great hospitality throughout our stay. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience very comfortable. The location is also very convenient, easy access to Jonker Street Night Market and plenty of great eateries nearby, which made it perfect for exploring Melaka with the family. Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Definitely a place I would come back to again. 👍

Courtyard by Marriott Melaka | 3–5 February We chose this property following a recommendation from a family member and were assisted with our reservations by Shuhada, the Assistant Event Manager. Although we were visiting purely for leisure, she extended professional courtesy and support from the outset — something I always value when planning a stay. Arrival was smooth and the welcome warm. The team on duty — Sin Jung (concierge), Syana and Khairul at the front desk, Muhammad, Sabri (bellman), and Balqis at the coffeehouse — were consistently gracious and attentive. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and breakfast was well managed and satisfying. Our only reservation concerns room allocation. Despite booking well in advance with the expectation of sea-view rooms, we were informed upon arrival that rooms had been reassigned to accommodate a large tour group. While operational realities are understandable, early reservations should ideally be honoured whenever possible. Our alternative rooms faced an adjacent building with limited privacy, which was a noticeable compromise. That said, the professionalism of the staff — and Shuhada’s thoughtful gesture of a parting gift — reflected genuine hospitality. A strong stay overall, elevated by people rather than by policy. With more consistent room allocation practices, the experience would be close to exceptional.
