Really great frontdesk service. Polite, friendly and professional is a must and it is done really well. However, there is so much potential in this place that is not being leveraged. It is because the lack of maintenance. The lift is not functioning properly, certain areas will have a strong poop smell. The breakfast is pretty good with variety of choices. In the room, the lightning could be better. There are quite a few parts of the room and around the area can be renewed. It is most likely people hard to come back again for one more time because there are no more new things to look forward to if there are no improvements.

We enjoyed our one-night stay at Colmar Tropicale. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the location was excellent. There was also a free shuttle bus to the Japanese Village and the Japanese Garden, which was very convenient. It was a bit hot on the streets, but the room was very comfortable with the air conditioning and fan. Plus, it’s only about a one-hour drive from KL. Highly recommended! Thank you, Colmar Tropicale!

Colmar Tropicale is, quite honestly, a beautiful place to stay. Yes, parts of it feel a little on the older side, and you can tell that an upgrade here and there would do wonders. But what really stood out to me was how well the place has been maintained, and more importantly, how strong the people running it are. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Darwisyah and Ammar at the front desk. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, not because they had to, but because they genuinely cared. If Colmar Tropicale does one thing exceptionally right, it’s this: they train their staff well. Everywhere we went around the property, the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. No forced smiles, no scripted lines. Just good, honest hospitality. But special mention again to Darwisyah and Ammar for their outstanding customer service. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite at the Heliconia block. The room itself is old, yes, but very clean and easily one of the best views on the property. Comfortable, quiet, and charming in its own way. Breakfast was good overall. A few things could be improved, especially the Western selection. That said, the local dishes more than made up for it. The chicken dishes in particular were genuinely delicious. Facilities-wise, there’s plenty to do. Multiple restaurants, a 7-Eleven on site, and various activities around the resort. We didn’t try all of them this time, but you can find reviews on those elsewhere. All in all, a very good stay. Warm people, solid hospitality, and a place that still has a lot of charm. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back.
