Two days ago, my family and I joined a family day event held here at Cherengin Hills. What initially attracted us upon arrival was the comfortable, calm, and peaceful environment. It is indeed a suitable place for activities that strengthen family bonding. However, in reality, there were many aspects that were very disappointing. Firstly, the service. We arrived as a fairly large family group consisting of 24 families. The resort informed us that check-in was allowed at 2:00 PM, but this was not the case. We had to wait for more than an hour to check in. The long waiting time was very inconvenient, especially since many of our family members had young children who had already started to become restless. The service at the dining hall was also unsatisfactory. There were no service staff attending to clear used plates after meals, and we had to clean up ourselves. The food provided was very basic and disappointing in terms of taste and cleanliness. The BBQ meat was tough and difficult to cut. Food was also very slow to be refilled once it ran out. As for the rooms, the condition was also very disappointing. Most of the rooms we received had similar issues: the TVs were not functioning, the water pressure was low, and the room floors were sandy. We request that the resort carry out proper maintenance for any damages in each room. The corridor lights along the pathway to rooms numbered 9045 were also not functioning. Some of us had to use the ironing facilities provided in complete darkness. The wooden wardrobes in the rooms were also damaged, with broken playwood inside. Overall, this experience was far from satisfactory and improvements are urgently needed, especially in terms of service, facilities, and maintenance. We sincerely hope the management will take these issues seriously and make tge necessary improvement.

This place has a great ambience; it’s quiet, calm and the view is amazing. I do understand that this is an old hotel. It has retro vibes and the room has old furnitures that were famously used back in around year of 2010s. It’s fine with me, but what I am upset with is the cleanliness of the room. Please maintain and clean your room properly before letting people check in. Our bathroom has cockroach’s poop and the cockroach itself has made itself like home in the bathroom 😩. I don’t remember agreeing to have a new roommate when I come here. Next time check first if any cockroach is staying in the room or not, I want to respect its privacy as well. I don’t mind staying in other room as long as it’s cockroach-free.

My friend, VOMITED when eating the food, I am highly disappointed at what you have done to really destroy such a beautiful location with a crappy hotel like this. As you can see from the picture, this is him vomiting, how disgusting. The rooms were decent, it’s just the doors that were rusty and the pungent smell coming from the drain that dropped my review of the rooms to 2 stars. The receptionist was the only person that comforted me during my stay, giving me recommendations on tourist attractions and nice places to eat. The sink didn’t work and there was no food to eat during breakfast too. Monkeys also attacked me. DON’T COME HERE!
