The place is just okay — honestly, at times it feels a bit overrated. Pos Kuala Mu has a few campsites and chalets, mostly managed by the Orang Asal community. We stayed at Chalet Bersah area, which is quite beautiful, but maybe because it was a busy time, there was an issue with overlapping chalet bookings, which was a bit frustrating. The river water wasn’t clear when we arrived, so that was a letdown. And most importantly — please be extra careful on the way in. The road conditions are quite bad, so drive slowly and make sure you fuel up beforehand. 😅

Bad management. There's no point booking because they'll give to walk-ins anyway. When we arrived, there were several overlap in bookings and when we requested what we booked for 3 months prior, the management said they made a mistake and asked us to move to another hut further away from our group. Please be careful when you travel here. Beautiful place, bad management. Manager lack people skills and compromise.

“a place for peace and tranquillity where the only noise is the sound of river splashing on the rocks” route difficulty: literally driving on the cliff, lots of trees, some are dangling right above the car. the roads are not well maintained since big trucks are also using the roads. accommodation: very chill, a cute hut with mattresses and pillows with blankets provided. Toilets are not well maintained. a bit creepy. very clean space. no trash in sight. cute cats! if possible please bring some pet food to share with the cats and dogs too.
