Paid camp site. A semi-wild riverside camping ground. Wonderful place for hideout from busy and hectic KL. Located in Kuala Kubu Baru. Less than an hour and a half from KL. Great semi-wild experience with minimal facilities as you can see from the phostos I share. Extra precautions needed if you are travelling with small kids because the river stream is pretty fast. Please avoid getting there in rainy season. This campsite located approximately 2km (off-road) from main road. Though can be reached using any type of vehicles, I personally recommend using 4x4. Price. Bases A, near the river RM60 per night if not mistaken. Bases B, farther from the river, RM50 per night. Reservation recommended especially for the weekeds or public holidays. No plug points. Must bring your own garbage bags and must bring your own garbage out from site. There is waterfall, 10 minutes tracking from the campsite with RM3/person for adults. Overall, a great place to relax and healing. You could see stars at night if the sky is clear. Can be quite chill at night.

Expensive campsite RM60 if go solo. But it is worth it if 2-3 tents ⛺️ together. There is only one bathroom and 3 toilets, but all in dilapidated condition and badly lit at night. No electricity. Solar light only for bathroom and toilet. No rubbish dump. River current is strong and not safe to swim or dip. River bed is rocky and slippery. The area is shady and windy, good for relaxation, and enjoy the river flow. Don't come on weekends if you want quiet and a good nite rest. There is a small waterfall ahead by walking distance 20 minutes but need to pay RM3 entrance fee. The covered platform 🛖 rental is RM80. Hope the owner improves the lighting, bathroom, and toilets if he wants return campers to enjoy this beautiful campsite.

We camped here for 2d1n ▪️ road to come here quite challenging for lowered car , bout 2 km from main road to campbase ▪️ we booked gazebo/wakaf RM80 for 1 night, can accommodate 2 small tent ▪️ have 2 gazebo/wakaf but we booked at river bank ▪️ no check in n check out time ▪️ current river very strong , u can easily drift away, but there’s some area the current not so strong. Is the other side from our site ▪️ we choose this site bcos we can hang hammock. About 3 hammock we can hang ▪️here have water rafting activities (not under CO) ▪️here u have two layer site, one is nearby river bank, another layer beside car park Facilities ▪️ toilet 1 (4 toilet in progress) ▪️ have pipe for washing but no sink, u have to squat ▪️no plugpoint ▪️no lamps surrounding ▪️ telco line limited - Celcom, Digi ▪️CO friendly and helpful Despite bad weather, we have great time here.
