AFamosa Pool Villa（998）Very disappointing stay. We stayed for 2 days 1 night and encountered serious hygiene issues. There were a large number of ants at the car park area and also crawling on the toilet wall. We even found a centipede inside the unit. On top of that, there were many mosquitoes and I ended up with multiple bites on my arms and legs. The experience was extremely uncomfortable. What made it worse was the service. We tried contacting the Booking app customer service but received no response. When we went directly to the reception to complain, instead of apologizing, we were questioned about why we did not inform them earlier. This is not the way to handle guests. Very poor hygiene standards and unacceptable customer service. Definitely not worth the stay.

Not much to say about this place. Water pressure is terrible, no hot water in the shower and the room while clean has not been updated and is very run down. We stayed in Block 1 apartment condo. I highly recommend you find other options as the price is equivalent to the Aloft hotel in KL that I rated 5 stars.

A disappointing stay due to poor room conditions, safety concerns, and unexpected renovation noise. Hotel Name: A'Famosa Resort Melaka Location: Melaka, Malaysia Date of Stay: October 2025 Length of Stay: 3 nights Purpose of Visit: Leisure with family (including small children) Overall Rating: ★ I recently had the opportunity to stay at A'Famosa Resort Melaka, and I would like to share my experience. The room fell short in terms of both comfort and safety. The bed was extremely firm. It was so hard to the point of disrupting sleep. More concerning was the condition of the wooden headboard, which was partially broken. Pieces of wood were protruding, posing a potential risk of splinters or injury. Additionally, the floor skirting and wooden flooring had several loose and uneven panels. In some areas, the wood was protruding, creating a tripping hazard. These maintenance issues are not only inconvenient but also present serious safety concerns that should be addressed immediately. Furthermore, the sofa in the room was in extremely poor condition. It appeared very old and worn, with sagging cushions and fabric that had clearly seen better days. The condition was so uncomfortable that sitting on the floor felt like a more suitable option. This piece of furniture is well past its usable lifespan and should be replaced. Our overall experience was negatively impacted by ongoing renovations during our stay. Construction work was taking place on the floor above, and the noise was disruptive throughout the day. At no point prior to or during check-in were we informed that renovations were taking place, which we found disappointing. Had we been made aware in advance, we might have reconsidered the booking or requested a different room placement. Transparency about such disturbances is essential for guest satisfaction. The safety hazards in the room, combined with the renovation disturbance and poor condition of furniture, made it unsuitable for a relaxing family stay, particularly with young children. At this time, I would not recommend this property.
